The Khajuraho group of monuments is considered as one of the largest groups consisting of 85 in number. It is located in Madhya Pradesh and followed by the largest group of Hindu and Jain people. Talatal Ghar, Based on Ahom Architecture

It is located in the Rangpur of Assam, based on the Tai Ahom architecture. This is the largest example of the Ahom architecture, followed by the Kareng Ghar. Both are grand and one of a kind in their own way.

Basically, it was initially built in the 17th century as an Army Base consisting of three floors and two secret tunnels for the purpose. Nowadays, the only first floor had been opened for the visitors. It is a fine monument for exploration and you can also look for some of the decent places nearby.

Brihadiswara Temple

Brihadiswara Temple is one of the gemstones of Tamil Nadu located in the Thanjavur district. This is the temple that delivers all the keen eye details of the Chola empire. The temple is a tribute to the Raja-Raja 1 and has been recognized as the World Heritage site by UNESCO as the “Great Living Chola Temples”.

This temple is also known for its unique architecture as at the front, there sit a 16 feet long sculpture of Nandi which is made up of a single rock. Mainly the granite rock is used during the construction of this temple which was brought all the way from Tiruchirapalli, 60 km away from Thanjavur.

Eran Monument, Madhya Pradesh

This is the most unusual and remarkable temple devoted to the Varaha Avatar of Lord Vishnu. Located in the Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh, this monument had excavated many diverse coins. It is one of the remarkable places which send us back directly to the Gupta empire. It is one of the most famous hub of the cultural and ancient people that gives you more historic information of the time.

Located in the Aurangabad district of Maharashtra, these were built in the 2nd century. The Ajanta Caves include the rock cut sculptures that are considered as the finest surviving example of that time.
